The First Lady of the Republic of Malawi, Her Excellency Madam Gertrude Mutharika on Sunday afternoon, welcomed Her Excellency Madame Maesaiah Thabane First Lady of the Kingdom of Lesotho who is in the country for a five day official visit.
While in the country, Madame Thabane will have the honour to officially open a girls hostel constructed by the Beautify Malawi Trust (BEAM) at Sopa Community Day Secondary School in Mchinji district as well as tour the Bwanje irrigation schemes in Dedza district.
On Sunday evening, Madame Mutharika hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting First Lady and her delegation at Kamuzu Palace, in Lilongwe.
