The visiting First Lady of the Kingdom of Lesotho Her Excellency Madame Maesaiah Thabane on Tuesday November 28, 2017, toured the new Bwanje Dam project and the Bwanje Irrigation Rice scheme in Dedza district.
She was accompanied on the tour by her host Her Excellency Madame Gertrude Mutharika, First Lady of the Republic of Malawi.
During the visit, the two First Ladies met rice growers and took a tour of the Bwanje Irrigation Scheme Rice Cooperative rice milling, grading and packaging factory.
Madame Thabane is in the country for a five-day official visit.
